Lady Ruth Skinner

Lady Ruth Skinner was born the daughter of the late Deacon Charles McDaniel and Elder Jessie Pearl McDaniel.  She is the First Lady of Bread of Life Christian Center and the National First Lady for Explosion Ministries Fellowship Association of Churches (EMFAC) – a fellowship of interdenominational ministries and churches, in which she serves as a matriarch and nurturer to men and women at large.  Her ministry is often beheld as a pattern and example to many because of the sincerity it radiates, the excellence it portrays, and most importantly, because of the anointing it relies upon.During her walk with the Lord and over several years of ministry Lady Skinner has served in numerous capacities in the church.  Some of her areas of service include being the Adult Choir President, member of the Usher’s Board and as Minister of Music.  Presently, she serves in the Bread of Life Christian Center as and Ruling Elder and President of the Women’s Department. Professionally, Lady Skinner is a certified Master Cosmetologist and graduated from Columbus Technical College in Columbus, GA.  When she practiced her secular profession she was the owner of Ruth’s Total Care Systems Beauty Salon.  But now she works in full-time ministry for Bread of Life Christian Center alongside her husband. She is married to the honorable Bishop L. D. Skinner, Sr., Senior Pastor & Founder of Bread of Life Christian Church and Founder and Presiding Prelate of EMFAC.  From this union came three sons:  Pastor L. Darnel Skinner, Jr., Darrell Skinner and Darius Skinner. They are also the proud grandparents of 9. Ultimately, Lady Skinner is a woman of strong conviction, high standard and impeccable integrity – a woman who is forever seeking to please her Lord and Savior. To this end, she holds fast to her motto that “only what you do for Christ will last”.
